About

Brent Anderson is a songwriter, producer and musician originally from Pascagoula, Mississippi. He picked up the guitar at age 6 and was fronting his own band by the time he was 10. After moving to Nashville in 2005, Brent signed his first songwriting deal at just 17 years old and has since built a career behind some of country music’s most celebrated artists.

He is the writer behind multiple No. 1 songs recorded by artists such as Blake Shelton, Scotty McCreery, Jason Aldean and John Morgan. His breakout hit came with “Lonely Tonight” by Blake Shelton featuring Ashley Monroe, which topped the Billboard Country Airplay chart and earned widespread acclaim. He also co-wrote Scotty McCreery’s recent chart-topping single “Cab In A Solo.”

As a producer, Brent has earned two No. 1 hits with Chris Janson’s Buy Me a Boat and Fix a Drink, both of which also feature his guitar work and background vocals. He’s produced for artists including Jameson Rodgers, John Morgan, Matt Stell, Mike Ryan, Drew Green, Connor McCutcheon and many more. His vocals and guitar playing have appeared on projects by Dustin Lynch, Brandy Clark, Lainey Wilson, Brad Paisley, and many others.

In addition to his work behind the scenes, Brent released his own debut single “Amy’s Song” in 2011 under Arista, which featured Vince Gill and Craig Fuller. The track received strong reviews and showcased his signature smoky vocal tone and storytelling.

Brent continues to leave his mark on Nashville as a sought-after songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist. He is currently signed to Spirit Music Publishing and continues to write, produce, and collaborate with both new talent and established acts, bringing his Mississippi roots and Nashville craftsmanship to every project.

Outside of the studio, Brent enjoys learning how to play golf and is an avid reader with a deep appreciation for storytelling in all its forms. He loves dining out, meeting new people, and hearing their stories—he’s truly never met a stranger. Brent is recently married to Artist Manager and Entrepreneur Desiree Page, a former actress and model. Together, they share their home with three beloved Lhasa Apsos: Gumbo, Tiger, and Mudbug.
