
Brent Anderson songwriter, producer, and musician originally from Pascagoula, Mississippi. He picked up the guitar at age 6 and was fronting his own band by the time he was 10 years old. After moving to Nashville in 2005, Brent signed his first songwriting deal at just 17 years old and has since built a career behind some of the country genre’s greatest.
He is the writer behind multiple No. 1 songs recorded by artists such as Blake Shelton, Scotty McCreery, Jason Aldean and John Morgan. His breakout hit came with “Lonely Tonight” by Blake Shelton featuring Ashley Monroe, which topped the Billboard Country Airplay chart and earned widespread acclaim. He also co-wrote Scotty McCreery’s recent chart-topping single “Cab In A Solo.”
As a producer, Brent has achieved two No. 1 hits with Chris Janson’s Buy Me a Boat and Fix a Drink, both of which also feature his guitar work and background vocals. He’s produced for artists including Jameson Rodgers, Connor McCutcheon, and John Morgan, and his vocals and guitar playing have appeared on projects by Brandy Clark, Lainey Wilson, Brad Paisley, and many others.
In addition to his work behind the scenes, Brent released his own debut single as “Amy’s Song” in 2011, which featured Vince Gill and Craig Fuller. The track received strong reviews and showcased his signature “smoky” vocal tone and storytelling.
